The club discussed plans for participating in the fair. The club will be using the pole barn as we have in the past but we may not have our usual end bay. The organizers were considering putting the wood turners in the end bay because they felt that they would not be blowing the fuse if they were there -- this would not be a problem for us. There was a discussion on who would be representing the club each day and how the tickets and parking passes would be distributed.
Show & Tell
Three members had carvings to show at the meeting. First, Phil displayed an owl carved out of 2 X 4's..
Jon displayed two comfort turtles that he carved.
Butch had a caricature of a bear with a honey pot.
